2009 General Election Dates to Remember
October 13 - Last day to register to vote in the November General Election
October 27 - Last day to apply for an absentee ballot application by mail
November 2 - Last day to apply for an absentee ballot application in person—by 3 p.m.
November 3 - General Election Day - polls open 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
